Biker Girl

Hi!  Popping in quick to share a birthday card I made for an old friend.  We were actually able to get together for dinner and drinks this past weekend.  I hadn't seen her in four years and it was so fabulous to catch up!  It's wonderful to have people in your life who though time passes friendship stays right where it was!

For my card, I used my Copics to color up Biker Girl from KennyK.  She is cut using the Classic Rectangle Nestabilities (Spellbinders).  I selected the current sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesday (#178) and kept my design simple.  The center panel is embossed with a Tim Holtz embossing folder.  I stamped a sentiment from My Favorite Things and cut it using the Stars Five Nestabilities (Spellbinders).  Papers are Recollections - Union Square.

I have a short work week to get through and a bit more crafting to do before my long birthday weekend off!  Thanks again for dropping by and have a wonderful day!

Markers used: Copics (E00, E04, E11, E13, E17, E19, E21, E23, E39, Y28, Y32, N0, N2, N4, N6, R20, R32, R35, R39, R89).

{hugs}

Fab card and good job colouring this gal and her motorbike! Love the colour of her hair and the way you did the hat.

I'm loving the texture on this card that really supports the "tough" biker feel of this KennyK image. Great use of the sketch. Thanks for sharing with us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday. Hope you will show us more soon.
